- First day to sign and submit nomination papers: NOVEMBER 5, 2025
(The first Wednesday after the first Monday in November) - Filing deadline for candidates in the May 2026 Primary: Friday, January 9, 2026 at 4:00 PM
- Filing deadline for nonpartisan & independent candidates (General Election): Tuesday,June 2, 2026 at 4:00 PM
- Deadline to file as a write-in candidate: Monday, August 24, 2026 at 4:00 PM
- Last day to change party affiliation to vote in that party’s primary: December 31, 2025.
